Russia's Federal Service for Consumer Rights and Human Welfare Protection is considering banning wine imports from some Moldovan producers, including Selkutsa, BasVinex and Vinaria bostavan, the service said on Wednesday.

Although the volume of low-quality Moldovan wine has declined recently, the Russian watchdog had banned 960,000 liters of bad wine, brandy and wine stock from Moldova, the service said.

La création annoncée mardi d'un Fonds routier fédéral permettra au ministère russe des Transports de réparer jusqu'à 85% des routes fédérales d'ici 2015, a annoncé mardi à Moscou le ministre Igor Levitine.

"Maintenant nous connaissons le montant des ressources financières dont nous disposerons au cours des 5 prochaines années", a dit le ministre commentant la décision du président russe Dmitri Medvedev de créer le Fonds routier en 2011, annoncée mardi par le vice-premier ministre et ministre russe des Finances Alexeï Koudrine.

British oil giant BP may sell some or all of its 50 percent stake in the Russian-British joint venture TNK-BP to raise funds after April’s oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, The Times said on Monday.

Russia's Gazprom or Rosneft are the most likely buyers if the company decides to sell, the paper said.

The April 22 blast at an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico killed 11 people and caused the worst oil spill in U.S. history. BP has so far spent some $4 billion on the clean-up operation.

Le Kazakhstan a extrait 8.452 tonnes d'uranium lors des six premiers mois de l'année 2010 et a confirmé sa place de leader mondial dans ce domaine, a annoncé mardi à Astana le vice-ministre kazakh de l'Industrie et des Hautes technologies Albert Raou.

"Le volume total de l'uranium extrait lors de la première moitié de l'année en cours se chiffre à 8.452 tonnes. Lors du prochain semestre on envisage d'extraire encore 9.770 tonnes d'uranium", a déclaré M.Raou en conseil des ministres.

«Another subject concerns the idea that I formulated back in Moscow regarding the cleanup following the accident in the Gulf of Mexico. Today I presented this idea here at the summit too. The proposal is to establish an international mechanism for preventing and liquidating these kinds of offshore accidents and protecting the marine environment in general.
